A vulnerability has been found in WordPress 1.5.1 (Content Management System) and classified as critical. This vulnerability affects some unknown processing of the file template-functions-category.php. The manipulation of the argument cat_id with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. SQL injection vulnerability in template-functions-category.php in WordPress 1.5.1 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the $cat_ID variable, as demonstrated using the cat parameter to index.php.
