A vulnerability was found in Web Content Management News System (unknown version) and classified as problematic. This issue affects an unknown code block of the file validsession.php. The manipulation of the argument strTable with an unknown input leads to a cross site scripting vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-80. The product receives input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special characters such as "<", ">", and "&" that could be interpreted as web-scripting elements when they are sent to a downstream component that processes web pages. Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in Web Content Management News System allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via (1) the strRootpath parameter to validsession.php or (2) the strTable parameter to Admin/News/List.php.
