A vulnerability was found in ECW-Shop 6.0.2 and classified as problematic. This issue affects an unknown code block of the file index.php. Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in index.php in ECW-Shop 6.0.2 allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the (1) max or (2) ctg parameter.

The bug was discovered 08/17/2005. The weakness was disclosed 08/19/2005 by John Cobb as not defined posting (Bugtraq). It is possible to read the advisory at marc.theaimsgroup.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2005-2622 since 08/19/2005. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction. Technical details of the vulnerability are known, but there is no available exploit. The attack technique deployed by this issue is T1059.007 according to MITRE ATT&CK.
