A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in MyBB (Content Management System) (version now known). This issue affects some unknown processing of the file misc.php. The manipulation of the argument fid with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. Multiple SQL injection vulnerabilities in MyBulletinBoard (MyBB) Preview Release 2 allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the (1) fid parameter to misc.php or (2) Content-Disposition field in the HTTP header to newreply.php.
