Details
A vulnerability has been found in Siemens CPCI85 Central Processing Communication and SICORE Base system (version unknown) and classified as critical. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown function of the component Web Interface. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a command injection vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-77. The product constructs all or part of a command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended command when it is sent to a downstream component. As an impact it is known to affect confidentiality, integrity, and availability. The summary by CVE is:
A vulnerability has been identified in CPCI85 Central Processing/Communication (All versions < V5.30), SICORE Base system (All versions < V1.3.0). The web interface of affected devices is vulnerable to command injection due to missing server side input sanitation. This could allow an authenticated privileged remote attacker to execute arbitrary code with root privileges.
