Affected by this issue is the function displayLoginChunkedImages/storeLoginChunkedImages of the file /responsiveUI/EnvelopeOpenServlet. The manipulation of the argument messageId with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-22. Kiteworks Totemomail 7.x and 8.x before 8.3.0 allows /responsiveUI/EnvelopeOpenServlet messageId directory traversal for unauthenticated file read and delete operations (with displayLoginChunkedImages) and write operations (with storeLoginChunkedImages).
