A vulnerability was found in Linux Kernel up to 6.1.12. It has been declared as critical. This vulnerability affects the function ifcvf_mgmt_dev of the component vdpa. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a memory leak vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-401. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: vdpa: ifcvf: Do proper cleanup if IFCVF init fails ifcvf_mgmt_dev leaks memory if it is not freed before returning. Call is made to correct return statement so memory does not leak. ifcvf_init_hw does not take care of this so it is needed to do it here.
