alloccgblk in the UFS filesystem in Solaris 10 allows local users to cause a denial of service (memory corruption) by mounting crafted UFS filesystems with malformed data structures.
The issue has been introduced in 01/31/2005. The weakness was disclosed 11/06/2006 by LHM (Website). The advisory is shared at projects.info-pull.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2006-5726 since 11/06/2006. The attack needs to be initiated within the local network.
