A vulnerability was found in Linux Kernel up to 5.14.13 and classified as critical. This issue affects the function dm_io_dec_pending. Applying the patch 9fb7cd5c7fef/d35aef9c60d3/9e07272cca2e/ad1393b92e50/d29c78d3f9c5/6e506f07c5b5/d208b89401e0 is able to eliminate this problem. The bugfix is ready for download at git.kernel.org. The best possible mitigation is suggested to be upgrading to the latest version.
