Internet Explorer 5.01 SP3 through 6.0 SP1 allows remote attackers to access and execute script in the My Computer domain using the browser cache via crafted Content-Type and Content-Disposition headers, aka the "Browser Cache Script Execution in My Computer Zone" vulnerability.

The weakness was released 09/07/2003 by http-equiv with malware.com (Website). The advisory is available at lists.netsys.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2003-0531. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. Technical details are unknown but a public exploit is available.
