The weakness was presented 10/28/2005 by Paul Craig with Security-Assessment.com as confirmed posting (Bugtraq). The advisory is shared at marc.theaimsgroup.com. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2005-3428 since 11/02/2005. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication.
