A vulnerability was found in Iisworks ASPKnowledgebase (Knowledge Base Software) (affected version not known) and classified as critical. Affected by this issue is some unknown functionality of the file adminlogin.asp. The manipulation of the argument pwd with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-89. SQL injection vulnerability in ASPKnowledgebase allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands and bypass authentication via the (1) username and (2) password fields in adminlogin.asp.

This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2005-3596 since 11/16/2005. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation.
