Marco Trevisan discovered that the Ubuntu Advantage Desktop Daemon, before version 1.12, leaks the Pro token to unprivileged users by passing the token as an argument in plaintext.
The weakness was presented by Marco Trevisan. The advisory is shared at bugs.launchpad.net. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2024-6388 since 06/27/2024. The exploitation appears to be easy.
