A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, has been found in PHPAlbum 0.2.3. This issue affects an unknown code of the file main.php. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. Directory traversal vulnerability in main.php in PHPAlbum 0.2.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files via the (1) cmd and (2) var1 parameters.
