A vulnerability was found in stitionai devika (version now known). It has been declared as critical. Affected by this vulnerability is some unknown processing of the file /api/get-browser-snapshot. The manipulation of the argument snapshot_path with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. The snapshot_path parameter in the /api/get-browser-snapshot endpoint in stitionai devika v1 is susceptible to a path traversal attack. An attacker can manipulate the snapshot_path parameter to traverse directories and access sensitive files on the server. This can potentially lead to unauthorized access to critical system files and compromise the confidentiality and integrity of the system.
