A vulnerability was found in Tmc Visionpool Mercury CMS up to 4.0 (Content Management System). It has been rated as critical. This issue affects an unknown code of the file index.cfm. SQL injection vulnerability in index.cfm in Mercury CMS 4.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the page parameter.
The weakness was disclosed 12/18/2005 by r0t (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at securityfocus.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2005-4406 since 12/20/2005. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. Technical details of the vulnerability are known, but there is no available exploit. The attack technique deployed by this issue is T1505 according to MITRE ATT&CK.
