Multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in the UpdateEngine program in Fatwire UpdateEngine 6.2 and earlier allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the (1) COUNTRYNAME, (2) EMAIL, and (3) FUELAP_TEMPLATENAME parameters.
The weakness was shared 12/23/2005 by r0t (Website). The advisory is shared at pridels.blogspot.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2005-4576 since 12/29/2005. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction.
