A vulnerability classified as problematic has been found in Kayako liveResponse 2.0. Affected is an unknown function of the file index.php. The manipulation of the argument username with an unknown input leads to a cross site scripting vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-80. The product receives input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special characters such as "<", ">", and "&" that could be interpreted as web-scripting elements when they are sent to a downstream component that processes web pages. Multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in Kayako liveResponse 2.x allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the (1) username parameter or (2) name field when entering a session or sending a message.
