A vulnerability was found in osCommerce up to 1.13 (E-Commerce Management Software). It has been classified as critical. Affected is an unknown part of the file additional_images.php. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. SQL injection vulnerability in additional_images.php (aka the Additional Images module) before 1.14 in osCommerce allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the products_id parameter to product_info.php.
The weakness was released 10/06/2005 by Defa and Defa (Website). The advisory is shared for download at archives.neohapsis.com. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2005-4677 since 01/31/2006. The exploitability is told to be easy. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication. There are known technical details, but no exploit is available. The MITRE ATT&CK project declares the attack technique as T1505.
It is declared as proof-of-concept. By approaching the search of inurl:additional_images.php it is possible to find vulnerable targets with Google Hacking.
Upgrading to version 1.14 eliminates this vulnerability.
