A vulnerability was found in Eclipse Jetty up to 10.0.17/11.0.17/12.0.3. It has been rated as problematic. Affected by this issue is the function PushSessionCacheFilter. Jetty PushSessionCacheFilter can be exploited by unauthenticated users to launch remote DoS attacks by exhausting the server’s memory.
The weakness was released by Lian Kee as 24. The advisory is available at github.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2024-6762 since 07/15/2024. The exploitation is known to be difficult. The attack may be launched remotely. Technical details are known, but there is no available exploit. This vulnerability is assigned to T1499 by the MITRE ATT&CK project.
