A vulnerability was found in Haddad Said B-net Software 1.0 and classified as problematic. This issue affects an unknown code of the file shout.php. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a cross site scripting vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-80. The product receives input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special characters such as "<", ">", and "&" that could be interpreted as web-scripting elements when they are sent to a downstream component that processes web pages. Multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in B-net Software 1.0 allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the (1) name and (2) shout variables to (a) shout.php, or the (3) title and (4) message variables to (b) guestbook.php.
The weakness was presented 01/02/2006 by Aliaksandr Hartsuyeu (Website). The advisory is shared at vupen.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2006-0078 since 01/04/2006. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction. Technical details are known, but no exploit is available. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1059.007 for this issue.
It is declared as proof-of-concept. By approaching the search of inurl:shout.php it is possible to find vulnerable targets with Google Hacking.
