A vulnerability has been found in Rockliffe MailSite 6.1.22.0 and classified as problematic. Affected by this vulnerability is some unknown processing of the component IMAP Service. Directory traversal vulnerability in the IMAP service of Rockliffe MailSite before 6.1.22.1 allows remote authenticated users to rename the folders of other users via a .. (dot dot) in the RENAME command.

The weakness was disclosed 01/04/2006 by Josh Zlatin-Amishav (Website). The advisory is shared at zur.homelinux.com. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2006-0127 since 01/09/2006. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be launched remotely. Required for exploitation is a single authentication. Technical details are unknown but an exploit is available.
