A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, was found in Light Weight Calendar up to 1.0 (Calendar Software). Affected is an unknown function of the file cal.php. The manipulation of the argument date with an unknown input leads to a memory corruption vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-119. The product performs operations on a memory buffer, but it can read from or write to a memory location that is outside of the intended boundary of the buffer. Eval injection vulnerability in Light Weight Calendar (LWC) 1.0 (20040909) and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code via the date parameter in cal.php, which is included by index.php.

The weakness was presented 01/13/2006 by Aliaksandr Hartsuyeu (Website). The advisory is shared for download at attrition.org. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2006-0206 since 01/13/2006.
