A vulnerability was found in Bit 5 Blog 8.01 (Blog Software). It has been rated as critical. This issue affects an unknown code of the file admin/processlogin.php. The manipulation of the argument password with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-89. SQL injection vulnerability in admin/processlogin.php in Bit 5 Blog 8.01 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands and bypass authentication via the (1) username and (2) password parameter.
The weakness was presented 01/14/2006 by Aliaksandr Hartsuyeu (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at vupen.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2006-0320 since 01/19/2006.
