A vulnerability was found in Samsung Devices (affected version not known). It has been declared as problematic. Affected by this vulnerability is some unknown functionality of the component ThemeCenter. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. Path Traversal in ThemeCenter prior to SMR Dec-2024 Release 1 allows physical attackers to copy apk files to arbitrary path with ThemeCenter privilege.
