A vulnerability classified as critical was found in Gasoft Gas Forum Light (Forum Software) (version unknown). Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown function of the file archive.asp. ** DISPUTED ** Multiple SQL injection vulnerabilities in archive.asp in GA s Forum Light allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the (1) Forum and (2) pages parameter. NOTE: SecurityTracker says that the vendor has disputed this issue, saying that GA Forum Light does not use an SQL database. SecurityTracker s research indicates that the original problem could be due to a vbscript parsing error based on invalid arguments.
The weakness was presented 02/07/2006 by Security Team (Dj_Eyes) (Website). The advisory is shared at attrition.org. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2006-0669 since 02/13/2006. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication. Technical details and also a public exploit are known. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1505 for this issue.
