CVSS Meta Temp Score
CVSS is a standardized scoring system to determine possibilities of attacks. The Temp Score considers temporal factors like disclosure, exploit and countermeasures. The unique Meta Score calculates the average score of different sources to provide a normalized scoring system.
Current Exploit Price (≈)
Our analysts are monitoring exploit markets and are in contact with vulnerability brokers. The range indicates the observed or calculated exploit price to be seen on exploit markets. A good indicator to understand the monetary effort required for and the popularity of an attack.
CTI Interest Score
Our Cyber Threat Intelligence team is monitoring different web sites, mailing lists, exploit markets and social media networks. The CTI Interest Score identifies the interest of attackers and the security community for this specific vulnerability in real-time. A high score indicates an elevated risk to be targeted for this vulnerability.

Detailsinfo

A vulnerability was found in siyuan-note SiYuan up to 3.1.15. It has been classified as critical. This affects some unknown processing of the file /api/export/exportResources of the component Endpoint. The manipulation of the argument paths with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. This is going to have an impact on confidentiality. The summary by CVE is:

SiYuan is a personal knowledge management system. Prior to version 3.1.16, SiYuan's /api/export/exportResources endpoint is vulnerable to arbitary file read via path traversal. It is possible to manipulate the paths parameter to access and download arbitrary files from the host system by traversing the workspace directory structure. Version 3.1.16 contains a patch for the issue.

It is possible to read the advisory at github.com. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2024-55658 since 12/10/2024. The exploitability is told to be easy.
