Details
A vulnerability was found in Lleidanet PKI eSigna up to 5.4.0. It has been classified as problematic. Affected is an unknown function of the component eSignaViewer. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. This is going to have an impact on confidentiality. CVE summarizes:
Path Traversal and Insecure Direct Object Reference (IDOR) vulnerabilities in the eSignaViewer component in eSigna product versions 1.0 to 1.5 on all platforms allow an unauthenticated attacker to access arbitrary files in the document system via manipulation of file paths and object identifiers.
