A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, was found in JiRo Banner System up to 1.0. This affects an unknown code block of the file addadmin.asp of the component Administrator Account. JiRo s Banner System Experience and Professional 1.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to bypass access restrictions and gain privileges via a direct request to certain scripts in the files directory, as demonstrated by using addadmin.asp to create a new administrator account.
The bug was discovered 03/07/2006. The weakness was released 03/09/2006 by Mustafa Can Bjorn (Website). The advisory is shared at vupen.com.
