A vulnerability was found in Dsportal DSNewsletter 1.0. It has been declared as critical. This vulnerability affects an unknown functionality of the file include/sub.php of the component magic_quotes_gpc. Multiple SQL injection vulnerabilities in DSNewsletter 1.0, with magic_quotes_gpc disabled, allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the email parameter to (1) include/sub.php, (2) include/confirm.php, or (3) include/unconfirm.php.
The weakness was disclosed 03/12/2006 by Aliaksandr Hartsuyeu (Website). The advisory is shared for download at evuln.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2006-1237 since 03/15/2006. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. There are known technical details, but no exploit is available. The MITRE ATT&CK project declares the attack technique as T1505.
It is declared as proof-of-concept. By approaching the search of inurl:include/sub.php it is possible to find vulnerable targets with Google Hacking.
There is no information about possible countermeasures known. It may be suggested to replace the affected object with an alternative product.
