Multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in index.cgi in the login server in University of Washington Pubcookie 3.0.0, 3.1.0, 3.1.1, 3.2 before 3.2.1b, and 3.3 before 3.3.0a allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via unspecified inputs.

The bug was discovered 12/18/2005. The weakness was disclosed 03/06/2006 by Ben Maurer as confirmed advisory (CERT.org). The advisory is shared at kb.cert.org. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2006-1392 since 03/26/2006. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. No form of authentication is needed for exploitation. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction. Technical details are known, but no exploit is available. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1059.007 for this issue.
