A vulnerability was found in Advanced Poll 2.02 (Survey Software) and classified as problematic. Affected by this issue is an unknown function of the file comments.php. The manipulation of the argument poll_id with an unknown input leads to a cross site scripting vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-80. The product receives input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special characters such as "<", ">", and "&" that could be interpreted as web-scripting elements when they are sent to a downstream component that processes web pages. Multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in Advanced Poll 2.02 allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the (1) id parameter to comments.php or (2) poll_id parameter to page.php. NOTE: it is possible that this issue is resultant from CVE-2006-1616.
