A vulnerability was found in VWar Virtual War up to 1.5.0. It has been declared as critical. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown code of the file get_header.php. PHP remote file inclusion vulnerability in get_header.php in VWar 1.5.0 R12 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code via a URL in the vwar_root parameter. NOTE: this is a different vulnerability than CVE-2006-1503.
The weakness was shared 04/02/2006 by uid0 (Website). The advisory is shared at secunia.com. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2006-1636 since 04/06/2006. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication. Technical details and also a public exploit are known.
