A vulnerability was found in Smartisoft phpListPro 2.0/2.01 (Mailing List Software) and classified as critical. This issue affects an unknown code block of the file config.php. PHP remote file inclusion vulnerability in config.php in phpListPro 2.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code via the returnpath parameter. NOTE: this issue was later reported to affect 2.01 as well.
The bug was discovered 04/11/2006. The weakness was published 04/11/2006 by Aesthetico (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at archives.neohapsis.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2006-1749 since 04/12/2006. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely.
