A vulnerability was found in Blursoft blur6ex 0.3.462. It has been rated as problematic. This issue affects an unknown part of the file index.php of the component Error Message Handler. Cross-site scripting vulnerability in index.php in blur6ex 0.3.452 allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the errormsg parameter, which is not sanitized in the error message. NOTE: the vector in the shard parameter is not XSS and has been assigned a separate name.
The weakness was disclosed 04/12/2006 by Rusydi Hasan M (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at securityfocus.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2006-1761 since 04/12/2006. The exploitation is known to be difficult. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction. Technical details of the vulnerability are known, but there is no available exploit. The attack technique deployed by this issue is T1059.007 according to MITRE ATT&CK.
