Details
A vulnerability was found in phpWebSite 0.10.2 (Content Management System) and classified as critical. Affected by this issue is the function loadconfig of the file index.php. The manipulation of the argument share with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. Impacted is confidentiality, integrity, and availability. CVE summarizes:
Directory traversal vulnerability in the loadConfig function in index.php in phpWebSite 0.10.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to include arbitrary local files and execute arbitrary PHP code via the hub_dir parameter, as demonstrated by including access_log. NOTE: in some cases, arbitrary remote file inclusion could be performed under PHP 5 using an SMB share argument such as "\\systemname\sharename".
