The weakness was released 04/20/2006 by Alexander Kornbrust with Generation Security Software Ltd. as confirmed advisory (CERT.org). The advisory is available at kb.cert.org. This vulnerability was named CVE-2006-1880 since 04/20/2006. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Technical details are unknown but a public exploit is available.
