The manipulation of the argument event_desc with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-89. Multiple SQL injection vulnerabilities in myEvent 1.x allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary SQL commands via the event_id parameter to (1) addevent.php or (2) del.php or (3) event_desc parameter to addevent.php. The weakness was disclosed 04/18/2006 by Secunia (Website). The advisory is shared for download at vupen.com. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2006-1907 since 04/20/2006. The exploitability is told to be easy. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication. There are known technical details, but no exploit is available. The MITRE ATT&CK project declares the attack technique as T1505.
It is declared as proof-of-concept. By approaching the search of inurl:addevent.php it is possible to find vulnerable targets with Google Hacking.
