Directory traversal vulnerability in addressbook.php in the Addressbook 1.2 module for PHP-Nuke allows remote attackers to include and execute arbitrary local files via a .. (dot dot) in the module_name parameter, as demonstrated by injecting PHP sequences into an Apache HTTP Server log file.

The weakness was released 04/02/2007 with bd0rk (Website). The advisory is shared for download at exploit-db.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2007-1720 since 03/27/2007. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation. Technical details as well as a public exploit are known.
