Details
A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in SOPlanning 1.53.00. Affected by this issue is some unknown processing of the file /process/upload.php. The manipulation of the argument fichier_to_delete with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. Impacted is confidentiality, integrity, and availability. CVE summarizes:
SOPlanning 1.53.00 is vulnerable to a directory traversal issue in /process/upload.php. The "fichier_to_delete" parameter allows authenticated attackers to specify file paths containing directory traversal sequences (e.g., ../). This vulnerability enables attackers to delete arbitrary files outside the intended upload directory, potentially leading to denial of service or disruption of application functionality.
