A vulnerability was found in Ideal Science Ideal BB up to 1.5.4a. It has been classified as problematic. This affects some unknown functionality of the file .asp. Ideal Science Ideal BB 1.5.4a and earlier does not properly check file extensions before permitting an upload, which allows remote attackers to upload and execute an ASP script via a 0x00 character before the ".asp" portion of the filename.
The bug was discovered 05/08/2006. The weakness was published 05/07/2006 by CodeScan Labs (Website). The advisory is shared at vupen.com.
