A vulnerability was found in Linux Kernel up to 5.4.231/5.10.167/5.15.92/6.1.10 and classified as critical. This issue affects the function ufx_usb_probe of the component smscufx. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fbdev: smscufx: fix error handling code in ufx_usb_probe The current error handling code in ufx_usb_probe have many unmatching issues, e.g., missing ufx_free_usb_list, destroy_modedb label should only include framebuffer_release, fb_dealloc_cmap only matches fb_alloc_cmap. The bugfix is ready for download at git.kernel.org. The best possible mitigation is suggested to be upgrading to the latest version.
