Mail in Apple Mac OS X 10.3.9 and 10.4.6 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via an enriched text e-mail message with "invalid color information" that causes Mail to allocate and initialize arbitrary classes.

The bug was discovered 05/11/2006. The weakness was released 05/08/2006 by Damien Bobillot (McAfee) with McAfee AVERT Labs (Website). The advisory is shared for download at us-cert.gov. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2006-1450 since 03/28/2006. The exploitability is told to be easy. It is possible to launch the attack remotely.
