A vulnerability was found in Xorcom CompletePBX up to 5.2.34. It has been declared as critical. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown code block of the component Diagnostics Reporting Module. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. Xorcom CompletePBX is vulnerable to a path traversal via the Diagnostics reporting module, which will allow reading of arbitrary files and additionally delete any retrieved file in place of the expected report. This issue affects CompletePBX: all versions up to and prior to 5.2.35
