A vulnerability has been found in Calendarscripts.com ChatPat 1.0 (Calendar Software) and classified as problematic. Affected by this vulnerability is some unknown functionality of the file fastchat.php. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a cross site scripting vulnerability. Multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in ChatPat 1.0 allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via a chat message in (1) fastchat.php and (2) fastshow.php.
The weakness was disclosed 05/30/2006 (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at vupen.com. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2006-2670 since 05/30/2006. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction.
