A vulnerability was found in dotWidget dotWidget CMS up to 1.0.6 (Content Management System) and classified as critical. Affected by this issue is an unknown functionality of the file index.php. PHP remote file inclusion vulnerability in dotWidget CMS 1.0.6 and earlier, when register_globals is enabled, allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code via a URL in the file_path parameter in (1) index.php, (2) feedback.php, and (3) printfriendly.php.
The weakness was presented 06/03/2006 by Aesthetico (Website). The advisory is shared for download at securityfocus.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2006-2852 since 06/05/2006. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation. Technical details as well as a public exploit are known. The MITRE ATT&CK project declares the attack technique as T1059.
