Multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in SHOUTcast 1.9.5 allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary HTML or web script via the DJ fields (1) Description, (2) URL, (3) Genre, (4) AIM, and (5) ICQ.
The bug was discovered 06/08/2006. The weakness was disclosed 06/13/2006 (Website). The advisory is shared at vupen.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2006-3007 since 06/12/2006. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction.
