A vulnerability was found in Cescripts Event Registration Paypal (version now known) and classified as critical. Affected by this issue is some unknown processing of the file view-event-details.php. The manipulation of the argument select_events with an unknown input leads to a cross site scripting vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-80. The product receives input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special characters such as "<", ">", and "&" that could be interpreted as web-scripting elements when they are sent to a downstream component that processes web pages. Impacted is confidentiality, integrity, and availability. CVE summarizes:
Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in Event Registration allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the (1) event_id parameter to view-event-details.php or (2) select_events parameter to event-registration.php. NOTE: the provenance of this information is unknown; the details are obtained from third party information.
