A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in Eschew.net phpBannerExchange up to 2.0 Update 5. Affected by this issue is an unknown code block of the file stats.php. The manipulation of the argument pass with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-89. SQL injection vulnerability in phpBannerExchange before 2.0 Update 6 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the (1) login parameter in (a) client/stats.php and (b) admin/stats.php, or the (2) pass parameter in client/stats.php.

The bug was discovered 06/09/2006. The weakness was shared 06/15/2006 by RedTeam Pentesting (Website). The advisory is available at archives.neohapsis.com.
