A vulnerability classified as problematic was found in H3C SecCenter SMP-E1114P02 up to 20250513. Affected by this vulnerability is the function operationDailyOut of the file /safeEvent/download. The manipulation of the argument filename with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. As an impact it is known to affect confidentiality.
